Statistics in Criminology

This course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge of statistics and their interpretation as they apply to criminology and criminal justice issues. The course will assist in the development of the necessary critical thinking skills for critiquing and evaluating criminal justice research. Students will learn and apply the fundamentals of data analysis in criminal justice research, focusing on both descriptive and inferential statistics. Prerequisite: CC100 and CC233/OL233/HS233 or PS295.
